How do I schedule an appointment? To make a mobile appointment phone the clinic or either of our mobile numbers to speak with a representative. Mobile appointments must be made at least 24 hours before desired appointment time or event. New patient paperwork should be filled out before initial visit, we take care of the rest.
How long does each appointment take? Appointment times vary depending on a case-by-case basis as we treat the individual. Average appointment times range from 10-20 minutes with initial appointments taking slightly longer due to examination and consultation.
What do I need to do before going to my first appointment? All you need to do is call and make the appointment*. We ask that for your very first appointment you fill out the "New Patient Intake Form" prior to your initial visit to ensure more timely appointments, then sit back and let us take it from there.
*Please have current insurance information handy 24 hours prior to desired appointment day. If booked, appointment slots will be filled on a first come first serve basis, for emergencies please contact your PCP.
What should I expect from my first appointment? During your first appointment, your doctor will complete a complete medical history and full assessment to address your aches and/or pains and therapeutic treatment will be performed.
Does an adjustment hurt? No. The purpose of the adjustment is to relieve pain and discomfort. Occasionally post adjustment muscle soreness may result. This is due to the application of motion into a joint or skeletal structure that has been impaired or has been out of motion. This is nothing more than the pain similar to that after a good work out and will resolve in 24-48 hours. During your initial appointment we will discuss how to relieve this temporary discomfort.
What is an adjustment? An adjustment is a chiropractic physicians primary form of treatment. An adjustment consists of a quick thrust applied to a specific joint/spinal segment causing pain or non-motion identified through a thorough exam (and possibly X-ray or MRI) by a licensed D.C. or D.O..
